SuperChango's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Amato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Piquirenda FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Piquirenda FC's Silvestre Peter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Igon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Casimiro Bihar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Amato was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Dante Burutzagi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Eloy Gudesteo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolo Amato skillfully saved the ball. Humberto Sotero made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Serafin Igon sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Piquirenda FC's zone, Casimiro Bihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Amato came out of the goal and Casimiro Bihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Silvestre Peter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquirenda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 76 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goalkeeper Humberto Sotero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Igon. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Humberto Sotero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Venancio Mikelar kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. SuperChango's Humberto Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SuperChango from getting a goal against them. Humberto Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Peter in the 88th minute of play. Casimiro Bihar's late challenge caught a Piquirenda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Bihar helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 minutes of play, Piquirenda FC's Serafin Igon made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Sotero was left in no man's land by his defense there!
