Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Arturo Joseph took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Amancio Magdaleno to make any attempt to save it. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NEWELL´S OLD BOYS! 19 minutes into the match, Black Dog F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Goiz came free, but Maximo Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Formerio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Maximo Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEWELL´S OLD BOYS. Amancio Magdaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Sancho in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Amancio Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Joseph came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amancio Magdaleno could save by the left post. Maximo Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Antonio Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Domiku in the 34th minute of the match. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Amancio Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Vasco in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Black Dog F.C. booed when NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Magdaleno stood somewhat misplaced when Anier Vasco came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leonides Sancho made the kick off in the second half. Maximo Haimar was a little too slow when Jairo Formerio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 3-1. 57 minutes into the game, Marco Henric threw the ball into play from the sideline. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Baltasar Rios quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 63 minutes into the game, Baltasar Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Dog F.C. the free kick. Baltasar Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Apolo Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Haimar having to interfere. Amancio Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Edwardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Jairo Formerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Vasco in the 70th minute of play forced NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Amancio Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Magdaleno having to interfere. Amancio Magdaleno came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Dog F.C.'s Leonides Sancho. But to his dismay, Leonides Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 93 minutes into the match, Arturo Joseph notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Amancio Magdaleno. Amancio Magdaleno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Black Dog F.C..
