The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlethico Talleres's Patricio Conrao slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gogo Gimenez. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. Nemesio Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Quirce in the 16th minute of the match. Club Atlethico Talleres's Nemesio Hotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Quirce in the 33rd minute of play. Aureliano Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nemesio Hotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Castulo in the 40th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Quirce made a kick off. Orlando Castulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Nemesio Hotz made a huge save. Orlando Castulo came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nemesio Hotz could save by the left post. Aureliano Quirce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Hotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Patricio Conrao hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Club Atlethico Talleres's Nemesio Hotz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlethico Talleres from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Ondino in the 64th minute of play forced Club Atlethico Talleres's goalkeeper Nemesio Hotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Orlando Castulo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Nemesio Hotz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 86th minute Aureliano Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Hotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Imperio Académico's Aureliano Quirce in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nemesio Hotz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Atlethico Talleres through an amazing save. Nemesio Hotz stood somewhat misplaced when Orlando Castulo came free in front of goal and shot 2-6 to the left of him in the 95 minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Imperio Académico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
