After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Marciano Suero got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Mainumby's Armando Beltza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Osoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Amadeo Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The supporters of Mainumby booed when Mapovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Scalarandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Scalarandi couldn't finish the play. The Mainumby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Jesus Odilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Benigno Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Scalarandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ilazki having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Mapovihesa FC's Herman Scalarandi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Ilazki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. The Mapovihesa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mapovihesa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
