Gerardo Benvido made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Aureliano Joachim sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jairo Rayman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Benvido was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Nueva Bodega's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Isaio came free, but Paulino Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Rayman got in the 18th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gerardo Benvido handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Tio Cosme FC's Santo Isaio in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nueva Bodega's goalie prevented a goal. Eusebio Eli's late challenge caught a Tio Cosme FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Eli helped the player get up and apologised. Eusebio Eli hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Nueva Bodega's Aureliano Joachim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Benvido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulino Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Iaki in the 29th minute of play. Nueva Bodega's Paulino Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Isaio in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Joachim got free with Gerardo Benvido in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Honorato Santio came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tio Cosme FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Santio couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes Nueva Bodega got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Ler. Nueva Bodega's Paulino Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Santio in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Tio Cosme FC's Santo Isaio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Gerardo Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Eli, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Rolando Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Iaki kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Rolando Oskitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Bodega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Oskitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Isaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Venerando having to interfere. Honorato Santio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, Tio Cosme FC's Santo Isaio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Venerando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulino Venerando was a little too slow when Honorato Santio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-3. Gerardo Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Santo Isaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tio Cosme FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
