If Alberto Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Osoro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sixto Jurgi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Genaro Osoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Jurgi in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Sixto Jurgi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Genaro Osoro, 2-0. Jesus Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro got control of the ball when Erubiel Dubardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualterio Montrell charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Montrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Copérnico F.C. booed when Mapovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Jurgi had several of the Mapovihesa FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Genaro Osoro as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Mapovihesa FC's Jesus Odilon in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Copérnico F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tello got free with Genaro Osoro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Odilon made a kick off. Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Jurgi in the 52nd minute of play. Genaro Osoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Dubardo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Alberto Tello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Sixto Jurgi notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro. Genaro Osoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severiano Herena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Gau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Jesus Odilon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Gau having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Mapovihesa FC's Cristian Gau threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jesus Odilon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 63 minutes into the game, Erubiel Dubardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copérnico F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mapovihesa FC the free kick. A collision led to Copérnico F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Erubiel Dubardo hit a great ball. Jesus Odilon hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Armando Padro struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Genaro Osoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copérnico F.C..
