After 4 minutes, Hilario Olo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapovihesa FC and the Centenario Bohemio players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Jesus Odilon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Oso. Centenario Bohemio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Odilon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Odilon got free with Claudio Oso in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Mapovihesa FC defense, Nunez Quin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Osoro. The Mapovihesa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Osoro should have stopped the shot. Gualterio Montrell hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Carlo Lattanzio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Osoro skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Oto during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mapovihesa FC booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Oto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Nunez Quin sped through Mapovihesa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genaro Osoro. In the 34thth minute of the game Carlo Lattanzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Odilon got free with Claudio Oso in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesus Odilon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Claudio Oso made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Quin made a kick off. If Jesus Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomiro Oto hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Severiano Herena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Claudio Oso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nunez Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Osoro having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Roman Pacifico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Genaro Osoro. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 68th minute Severiano Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Centenario Bohemio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Quin to maneuver through the defense. Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Quin in the 73rd minute of play. Marciano Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Oso having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Carlo Lattanzio made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Osoro. Mapovihesa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. If Alfonso Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes Centenario Bohemio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelino Ubarna who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Centenario Bohemio eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
