Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) MARTINETA's Agustín Ruberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Adrian Ospetsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Ruberto. Silvestre Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Ado in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Omero in the 15th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Adrian Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Bernardo Ado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silvestre Bertin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Estudiantes de América's Adrian Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Ceandro in the 24th minute of play. Adrian Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Ceandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Ceandro in the 34th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Adrian Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Silvestre Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Ruberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrian Ospetsu came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustín Ruberto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Markel to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Balesio. Silvestre Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 66 minutes into the match, MARTINETA's goalkeeper Silvestre Bertin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Balesio. In the 71st minute Javier Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Roque Etor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Balesio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Silvestre Bertin made a huge save. Adrian Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Ruberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Bernardo Ado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Bertin. MARTINETA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Estudiantes de América walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
