Osvaldo Firmin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Israel Jokin, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 27th minute Eulalio Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Edgardo Bertran put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gonzalo Curcio. The crowd rose to their feet as RED DEVIL's Edgardo Bertran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gonzalo Curcio. That made the score 0-7 after 69 minutes of play. In the 72nd minute, Horacio Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Eleder came free, but Alfonso Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Perros del sur's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Bertran came free, but Gonzalo Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RED DEVIL walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
