Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Estudiantes de América's Bernardo Ado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Amador Hechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Muno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Maquina 9-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. Teobaldo Muno hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Roque Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Balesio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Roque Etor hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Teobaldo Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eustacio Rito's late challenge caught a La Maquina 9-12-18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Rito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Eustacio Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Telo came free, but Adrian Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estudiantes de América's Adrian Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Muno in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Teobaldo Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Ildefonso Balesio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Dantel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Adrian Ospetsu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Amador Hechter sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Telo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Ospetsu. That made the score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. After 68 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Rito. In the 72nd minute, Bernardo Ado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Adrian Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Eustacio Rito got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Estudiantes de América's Elvio Paublo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elvio Paublo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Estudiantes de América protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elvio Paublo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 82nd match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Paublo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Teo Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Balesio. Adrian Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Lucio Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Ospetsu was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Amador Hechter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amador Hechter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. La Maquina 9-12-18's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
