The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augusto Martín showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Bosman, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Francesco Ferretti hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kalessin's Saul Nicholas got a free kick in the 7th minute. The supporters of Alejandra booed when Kalessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Azeari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandra's Rodri De Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Atauri in the 26th minute of play forced Kalessin's goalkeeper Raimundo Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Isidro Urtun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Aznaro. Kalessin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Urtun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Kalessin's Teofilo Azeari got a free kick in the 39th minute. Francesco Ferretti charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francesco Ferretti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alejandra booed when Kalessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Ferretti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Alejandra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Pavone was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Nicholas came free, but Augusto Martín reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Kalessin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Ferretti to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Kalessin's goalkeeper Raimundo Aznaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Urtun. Raimundo Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Urtun in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Saul Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Martín saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Ferretti got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th minute, Francesco Ferretti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Kalessin had been in control for most of the match, Alejandra still came away with the win.
