Bruno Maraman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Atila Edu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Atila Edu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ati Cabezudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulises Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Hotz in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Fabio Ferdinand got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Apolo Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Ferdinand. Atila Edu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ovidio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Hotz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Albino Argider got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 68th minute, Leonel Maureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Celso Incendio. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ati Cabezudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ati Cabezudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Ferdinand during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Desiderio Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Txilar to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Despidida AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
