If Apolo Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Ourente came free, but Ovidio Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Jakue in the 20th minute of the match. Bruno Maraman scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbert Szepesvári, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Bruno Maraman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Club Dep. Union Madereros booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Turi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Maureo having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ovidio Maureo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ovidio Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Apolo Ruy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Róbert Szepesvári. That made the score 3-1 in the 47 minute of play.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Daniel Laurendi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidio Maureo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th minute of the game, Leonides Isidor landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Celso Incendio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Freddy Txilar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbert Szepesvári showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Maraman came free, but Róbert Szepesvári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Laurendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Maraman in the 79th minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Róbert Szepesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Bruno Maraman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Róbert Szepesvári was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Ovidio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Ourente in the 92nd minute of the match. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Cornelio Hotz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Freddy Txilar, made in the 93rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Cornelio Hotz got a free kick in the 94th minute. Fabio Ferdinand's late challenge caught a Club Dep. Union Madereros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Ferdinand helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. Many of Club Dep. Union Madereros's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Dep. Union Madereros may have spent more time on the ball, but Sportivo Ben Hur were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
