Desiderio Tancredo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benjamin Price. 0-1. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Tancredo in the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Maraman during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruno Maraman kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Loco Palermo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Tancredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Rubio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Maraman in the 41st minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Characate FC defense, Bruno Maraman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Price. The Characate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Price should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Maraman made a kick off. Loco Palermo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Maureo. Ovidio Maureo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 55 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Celso Incendio. If Ernesto Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Sportivo Ben Hur's Bruno Maraman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamin Price. Benjamin Price yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Benjamin Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Maraman's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Zeledon Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Rubio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Ballack came free, but Ovidio Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Marcos Mederi got a free kick in the 85th minute. Apolo Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
