The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute of the match Marcelo Costas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo George skillfully saved the ball. Arturo George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Milito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo George didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Muno went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Dalmau in the 18th minute of play forced MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Siro Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Milito came free, but Arturo George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Milito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo George came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by MILAN COLOMBIANO's Diego Milito. But to his dismay, Diego Milito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Arturo George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Mirande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Diego Milito took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Arturo George to make any attempt to save it. Rosendo Olivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Cordarrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Rolando Txomin's late challenge caught a MILAN COLOMBIANO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Txomin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MILAN COLOMBIANO booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Dalmau hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Juanpi Sorin in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Rolando Txomin. Ariel Tiadoro struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Arturo George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MILAN COLOMBIANO. MILAN COLOMBIANO made a substitution. Armando Chago replaced Aquiles Bautista. MILAN COLOMBIANO made a substitution. Erubiel Egun replaced Ariel Tiadoro. After 71 played minutes C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo got a freekick which was hit by Candido Cordeiro. Arturo George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Egun in the 72nd minute of the match. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Egun in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo George saved C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo from getting behind. When the match was over MILAN COLOMBIANO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo throughout the match.
