The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atilano Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Guaberto Raebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Alfredo Madeo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MORPH's protests and gave Alfredo Madeo a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Madeo. Saturnino Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Lixandro having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Atilano Rodriguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Madeo. In the 32nd minute Gustavo-Hernán Lanzini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alphonse Tchami kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Estebano got free with Atilano Rodriguez in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Dalmau to make the kick off. Atilano Rodriguez came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by MORPH's Alfredo Madeo. But to his dismay, Alfredo Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ramiro Dalmau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Lixandro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, MORPH's Alfredo Madeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Rodriguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Inocencio Palban hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MORPH had played much better football throughout.
