A collision led to Arquímedes getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Norberto Yácono hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Harkaitz in the 11th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Ismael Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arquímedes's Norberto Dominix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvestre Ugaitz. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 15th minute, Norberto Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when Arquímedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Baudelio got free with Silvestre Ugaitz in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Ur in the 23rd minute of play forced ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Silvestre Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Ugaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Ur went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ismael Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Arquímedes's Vicente Ur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Ugaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Harkaitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Dominix in the 56th minute of play forced ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Silvestre Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Shantala to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Ur took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Ugaitz. Silvestre Ugaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ismael Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Toribio in the 72nd minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Vicente Ur notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Silvestre Ugaitz. Silvestre Ugaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Natalio Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arquímedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Baudelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Ugaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Ur came free, but Silvestre Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arquímedes's goalkeeper Ismael Koldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Silvestre Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ur in the 94th minute of play. Vicente Leguizamón lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Vicente Leguizamón hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arquímedes had played much better football throughout.
