With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Lia in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Eneko saved Terremoto FC from getting behind. When Pastor Chap fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terremoto FC's protests and gave Pastor Chap a yellow card for diving instead. Pastor Chap hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Bernardino Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Salvador Quirze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Bernardino Eneko made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Tiburcio Quintun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Fernández to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Mirande hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Juan Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Raul Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Ferran. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celedonio Erdiano made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Lia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Lia in the 59th minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Eneko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nemesio Txilar hit a great ball. Terremoto FC's Bernardino Eneko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Quirze in the 62nd minute of play. Terremoto FC's Cornelio Hermelando was substituted for Juan Chabier. Alzaga FC's Matias Abella quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonides Gaskon, made in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Mirande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Celso Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terremoto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Hurko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardino Eneko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Alzaga FC's Placido Lia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Eneko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 76th minute, Placido Lia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alzaga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 87th minute, Leonides Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Alzaga FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Placido Lia hit a great ball. Alzaga FC's Jorge Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Alzaga FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Terremoto FC's Pastor Chap got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Elivareo came free, but Bernardino Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alzaga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Terremoto FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
