Osvaldo Goren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Eneko having to make a save. 9 minutes into the game, Raul Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terremoto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menchu FC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Terremoto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Mendiko to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez shot from long distance after 10 played minutes, a shot that Bernardino Eneko with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. With a little luck, Menchu FC's Angel Comizzo got control of the ball when Prudencio Llope tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cornelio Hermelando hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Rodrigo Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Goren came free, but Bernardino Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Comizzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornelio Hermelando's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Lennart Torstensson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Cornelio Hermelando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Gallardo came free, but Bernardino Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Goren to make the kick off. Bernardino Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Noe, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Eulalio Fidensio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Noe to maneuver through the defense. Angel Comizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Llope in the 65th minute of the match. Osvaldo Goren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Eneko having to make a save. Bernardino Eneko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Goren in the 67th minute of play. Menchu FC's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Mirande in the 68th minute of play. Terremoto FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Menchu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Mirande took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Eli in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Comizzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Ferran. A sloppy throw-in by Ovidio Belmiro in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Menchu FC's Rigoberto Cuarto. Rigoberto Cuarto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Llope struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Angel Comizzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC. Bernardino Eneko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Quentin in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Eneko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Terremoto FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
