Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zeledon Madaleno took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Marcos Abellan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Gaskon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Los Gallos's Marcos Abellan in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POSSE 1911 FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gaston Gar made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by POSSE 1911 FC's Venancio Dimas. After a rather tough play, POSSE 1911 FC's Zeledon Madaleno got a free kick in the 14th minute. Marcos Abellan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Feliberto Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Abellan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Goycochea was a little too slow when Zeledon Madaleno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 21st minute of the match Los Gallos got a corner. POSSE 1911 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boyko Rushkarski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Boyko Rushkarski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feliberto Gaskon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcos Abellan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Feliberto Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Abellan in the 24th minute of the match. Sérgio Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Godfredo Xabel sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Goycochea having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Los Gallos's Arnoldo Amaya made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Gaskon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's Marcos Abellan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Gaskon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Los Gallos's Arnoldo Amaya in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POSSE 1911 FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Abellan in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Gaskon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to POSSE 1911 FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pedro Ermengol hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Marcos Abellan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Feliberto Gaskon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Los Gallos were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Amaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Amaya in the 50th minute of play forced POSSE 1911 FC's goalkeeper Feliberto Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. POSSE 1911 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Marcos Abellan scored to the left of an out of position Feliberto Gaskon, making the score, 1-4. 57 minutes into the match, POSSE 1911 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Abellan came free, but Feliberto Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's Marcos Abellan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Gaskon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in POSSE 1911 FC's zone, Arnoldo Amaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Gaskon came out of the goal and Arnoldo Amaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Luisito Aurken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POSSE 1911 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Gallos the free kick. A collision led to POSSE 1911 FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luisito Aurken hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, POSSE 1911 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Dimas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Boyko Rushkarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Gallos's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyko Rushkarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Amaya in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, POSSE 1911 FC's Pedro Ermengol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Goycochea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to POSSE 1911 FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Luisito Aurken hit a great ball. Feliberto Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Abellan in the 96th minute of play.
