With a left leg Hector Montrel saved Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka from getting behind. Baldomero Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Zarando Cordoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Gelmiro was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Uriel Arotza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Uriel Arotza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 17 minutes, Zarando Cordoba made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Hector Montrel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. BAC Belgrano de Cba were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ildefonso Isaio took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Calvet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hector Montrel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Domingos Cordarrell got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Gumaro. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Baldomero Gelmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save BAC Belgrano de Cba from getting a goal against them. Hector Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Cordoba in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Zarando Cordoba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Wilfredo Abar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Baldomero Gelmiro 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Zarando Cordoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alberto Calvet came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hector Montrel could save by the left post. Baldomero Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Ekhi in the 64th minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Zarando Cordoba made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Montrel was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarando Cordoba in the 72nd minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Hector Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Zarando Cordoba put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Montrel. Hector Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarando Cordoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Baldomero Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over BAC Belgrano de Cba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka throughout the match.
