The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorel Amarandei got free with Danilo Santxol in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute Jairo Rutenio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rene Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espirillo FC's protests and gave Rene Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Daniel Diagur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Santxol. The goal made the score 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Diagur came free, but Danilo Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Milian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Simon Milian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Theakston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Rutenio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Danilo Santxol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espirillo FC's Simon Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Elorri in the 32nd minute of play. Simon Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Ubarna in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Espirillo FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Daniel Diagur hit a great ball. Simon Milian came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Arthur Theakston. But to his dismay, Arthur Theakston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Simon Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Elorri in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Tadeo Elorri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Milian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 47 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Domeka.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorel Amarandei to make the kick off. Danilo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Diagur in the 58th minute of the match. When Domingo Eneko fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
