The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Burdisso to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Mariano Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Costante scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Thomas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Elivareo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ambrosio Urbes made a huge save. Angel Quintan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Matthew in the 14th minute of play forced The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Mariano Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Dominix hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Emander in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Urbes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the game, Anjullan AFC's Silverio Matthew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mariano Thomas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Matthew went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, The Cavern Club's Ambrosio Urbes threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angel Aballe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, The Cavern Club's Edgardo Elivareo got a free kick in the 41st minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The Cavern Club made a substitution. Frank Fabra replaced Romulo Huly. The wind increased when Edgardo Elivareo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Aballe came free, but Ambrosio Urbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Bonadona hit a great ball. Ambrosio Urbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Emander in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ādolfs 王义勇. The Anjullan AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
