Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Espirillo FC's Dorel Amarandei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Espirillo FC booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Domeka. In the 7th minute Tiburcio Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Polenta kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A hard shot by Rene Mendez from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Luís Mejía's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Simon Milian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s Marciano Maore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Milian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save LA LUZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 21st match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Mendez to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Carneiro took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Milian. Simon Milian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Rutenio in the 27th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Mejía to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Luís Artime made a precise shot to the right of Simon Milian. Espirillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 32 minutes into the game, LA LUZ F.C.'s Marciano Maore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Milian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Celestino Katia put in a rough tackle. Espirillo FC's Maximiliano Seguinus got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Espirillo FC booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Artime didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Milian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Carneiro in the 42nd minute of the match. Luís Artime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Milian having to interfere. After the first half LA LUZ F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Espirillo FC's Simon Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Quilo in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Gualterio Quilo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Simon Milian to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Carneiro during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gonzalo Carneiro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gualterio Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Simon Milian made a huge save. Luís Mejía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Lăcătuș in the 71st minute of play. Gonzalo Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Simon Milian made a huge save. Luís Mejía showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Rutenio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Diego Polenta hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Luís Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Rutenio in the 76th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Silvio Domeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espirillo FC and the LA LUZ F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Espirillo FC's zone, Luís Artime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Milian came out of the goal and Luís Artime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Espirillo FC's Maximiliano Seguinus got a free kick in the 84th minute. Luís Mejía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Rutenio in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Gualterio Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LA LUZ F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
