Joaquin Gallardo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Basilio Mederi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gutenberg. With a little luck, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Basilio Mederi got control of the ball when Joaquin Gallardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Nicolas Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Zarando Cordoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gutenberg's Joaquin Gallardo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Benedicto Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarando Cordoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Joaquin Gallardo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Basilio Mederi to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Bento in the 26th minute of play forced BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Basilio Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Atarratze. In the 29th minute, Gutenberg's Joaquin Gallardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basilio Mederi. Basilio Mederi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Basilio Mederi made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Joaquin Gallardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Joaquin Gallardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Basilio Mederi. The goal made the score 3-0. Basilio Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zarando Cordoba was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Calvet in the 54th minute of play forced Gutenberg's goalkeeper Sérgio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Gutenberg got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Berart. Gutenberg's Joel Oxel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arnulfo Atarratze, made in the 64th minute of the game. Sérgio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Calvet in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Gutenberg booed when BAC Belgrano de Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Librado didn't get a good kick on the ball. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Basilio Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Bento in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Gallardo came free, but Basilio Mederi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gutenberg's attentive Joel Oxel managed to snatch the ball when Arnulfo Atarratze made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Lore got free with Sérgio Romero in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Rafael Salvino was substituted for Florencio Librado. Arnulfo Atarratze made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eugenio Lore immediately put the ball in play. Joaquin Gallardo scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Mederi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basilio Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Gallardo in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, BAC Belgrano de Cba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Isaio to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Gallardo in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gutenberg were victorious despite being under pressure from BAC Belgrano de Cba for much of the match.
