The tension between the Racing Club and the Nahitantino players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, David Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club's Gonzalo Tebaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. In the 6th match minute, Nahitantino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Gora to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Cirilo Blai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Israel Vergaray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Blai in the 8th minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Israel Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nahitantino's Higinio Illan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 14 minutes in the game, fortunately Gonzalo Tebaldo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. German Gartzen's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Gartzen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, German Gartzen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Blai in the 17th minute of play. Cirilo Blai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Israel Vergaray having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Illan got free with Gonzalo Tebaldo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Blai in the 29th minute of play. Israel Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Blai in the 30th minute of play. Gonzalo Tebaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Caetano went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Bonifaco in the 35th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Gonzalo Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cirilo Blai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Blai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
60 minutes into the match, Higinio Illan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Racing Club's Gonzalo Tebaldo. Gonzalo Tebaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leo Gora kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Racing Club made a substitution. Santiago Abela Medici replaced Benicio Paio. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Nahitantino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Gora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Blai in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Leo Gora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nahitantino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nahitantino's Leo Gora got a free kick in the 68th minute. Racing Club's Arnoldo Avellaneda got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the game Leo Gora made a throw-in which Generoso Bonifaco played forward. In the 77th minute Racing Club were awarded a corner. Lorenzo Raymond went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Lorenzo Raymond almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray did a great save. When Cirilo Blai came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Blai couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Cirilo Blai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Israel Vergaray, 2-2. With a little luck, Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray got control of the ball when Cirilo Blai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Israel Vergaray made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cirilo Blai sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Nahitantino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Primeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Blai in the 93rd minute of play. Arnoldo Avellaneda scored 2-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Israel Vergaray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Racing Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Racing Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
