Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Cibran to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes, Napoleón 2018's Victorino Benat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Chuan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Napoleón 2018 reached it. Inocencio Pinto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Isidro Chuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Bazkoare in the 61st minute of play forced Napoleón 2018's goalkeeper Amancio Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Silvio Urbes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Baltasar Kismi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cayetano Mambrus short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Isidro Chuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Americo Txerran's late challenge caught a Social y Dep. Patagonia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Txerran helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia booed when Napoleón 2018 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Mauro Vermudo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amancio Rojelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Social y Dep. Patagonia reached it. Cayetano Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Napoleón 2018 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Napoleón 2018 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
