An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Paz in the 15th minute of play forced U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Germán Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Edur in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of U21 Totoras F.C. booed when Social y Dep. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Vermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mauro Vermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Vermudo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Social y Dep. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
54 minutes into the game, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Edmondo Sarnelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Chuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Isidro Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Sarnelli in the 58th minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Gerardo Edur made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Chuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Bazkoare in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germán Burgos saved U21 Totoras F.C. from getting behind. After 76 minutes of play Social y Dep. Patagonia's Mauro Vermudo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 77th minute, Mauro Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerardo Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Edur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Chuan having to interfere.
