The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrés Inocente got free with Anselmo Lucila in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Osman Nuri Enver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alain Heuze was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Osman Nuri Enver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alain Heuze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in los nadies's zone, Sixto Gurutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Lucila came out of the goal and Sixto Gurutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Sixto Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alain Heuze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in los nadies's zone, Andrés Inocente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Lucila came out of the goal and Andrés Inocente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Bollaert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Nuri Enver in the 29th minute of play forced Internet XAire's goalkeeper Alain Heuze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Internet XAire's Alain Heuze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Cunha in the 34th minute of play. Alain Heuze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Martxel in the 36th minute of play. Alain Heuze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Martxel's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmílson Cunha in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alain Heuze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alain Heuze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenan Ergüven in the 39th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Gurutz made a kick off. Osman Nuri Enver struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alain Heuze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los nadies.
