With a little luck, Formentera's Justo Estefan got control of the ball when Amadeo Martxel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeo Martxel had several of the Formentera's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Justo Estefan as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 22nd minute Formentera were awarded a corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jan-Erik Lönn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Erik Lönn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as los nadies's Ola Bukaka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Estefan. That made the score 3-1 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Poncio was the one to do the kick off. Anselmo Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Manny in the 55th minute of play. Formentera's Justo Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Koldobika in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Koldobika in the 56th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Justo Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cenan Ergüven, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Ergüven came free, but Justo Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Simon Koldobika notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Formentera's Justo Estefan. Justo Estefan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justo Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Koldobika in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th minute Osman Nuri Enver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
