Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilfredo Vargas got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Vargas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elpidio Primo. Wilfredo Vargas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Wilfredo Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Zuberbühler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Vargas couldn't finish the play. Zoran Zahrádka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinez Maravilha in the 10th minute of play. The corner led Zuberbühler FC's Braulio Neto to fire away a dangerous shot which Elpidio Primo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Martinez Maravilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Jesco to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martinez Maravilha came free, but Zoran Zahrádka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Todor made a kick off. Angelo Di María hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Jarana FC defense, Wilfredo Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Primo. The Jarana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Primo should have stopped the shot. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Erubiel Felo replaced Jorge Ponc. Rolando Todor's late challenge caught a Zuberbühler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Todor helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Todor. Jarana FC's Elpidio Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Vargas in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jarana FC's zone, Wilfredo Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Primo came out of the goal and Wilfredo Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the game, Zuberbühler FC's Braulio Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Primo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 71 minutes into the game, Tano Gutiérrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuberbühler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jarana FC the free kick. In the 78th minute of the match Braulio Neto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Primo skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Paolo Balasi got a free kick in the 79th minute. When the referee ended the match the Zuberbühler FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
