The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximiliano Ramirez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Vassenius having to make a save. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Maximiliano Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Vassenius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The Caballeritos del Baile fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Caballeritos del Baile's Honorio Erasto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caballeritos del Baile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
