ZORZAL01's Mauricio Maura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. Isaac Mingo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Maura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Mingo ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Mingo came free, but Mauricio Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Nicanor Fero made a precise shot to the right of Robert Vassenius. RB Chubut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Gabríel Batistuta could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Mauricio Maura however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabríel Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenio Maldonado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert Vassenius. That made the score 3-2 in the 51 minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Isaac Mingo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Maura. ZORZAL01's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Mingo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Nicanor Fero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Robert Vassenius made a huge save. In the 61st match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Lenertej to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Julian Iratzeder from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Robert Vassenius's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
