Ariando Abeijon started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eladio Abella during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Melchor Quadros fired a really elegant long shot, but Baiona Abadie threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Boni Arregui came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Chupeño's Ariando Abeijon. But to his dismay, Ariando Abeijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Boni Arregui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariando Abeijon's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Boni Arregui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Abajas in the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ariando Abeijon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boni Arregui was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Sportivo Chupeño's Ariando Abeijon in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Aragua FC's goalie prevented a goal. Boni Arregui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariando Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Chupeño. 47 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Abajas came free, but Boni Arregui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Terres was the one to do the kick off. Boni Arregui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestre Abancens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Baiona Abadie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Terres, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ariando Abeijon in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boni Arregui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Boni Arregui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Abancens in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Silvestre Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atletico Aragua FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Remigio Cerezo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui got control of the ball when Ariando Abeijon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 played minutes Sportivo Chupeño got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Abancens. If Guillermo Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariando Abeijon in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boni Arregui saved Atletico Aragua FC from getting behind. Sportivo Chupeño's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
