Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Caaguazu's Aurre Belorado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Aurre Belorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giro Rollan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Lawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Otsando Oterino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Waialua's Rich Lawson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giro Rollan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Rich Lawson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes, Willy Hearn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waialua and the Caaguazu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, one of Waialua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Waialua. 18 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Alcalde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caaguazu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waialua the free kick. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dagoberto Alcalde hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caaguazu's zone, Rich Lawson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giro Rollan came out of the goal and Rich Lawson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otsando Oterino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Otsando Oterino's late challenge caught a Waialua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otsando Oterino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Otsando Oterino got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Aurre Belorado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Waialua's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Conrado Faron scored to the left of an out of position Erik Cabrera, making the score, 2-0. In the 44th minute, Caaguazu's German Canado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Conrado Faron might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Cabrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Faron ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mancio Rapela came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Caaguazu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mancio Rapela couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Rich Lawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giro Rollan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Pankracy Kasiewski got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Faron in the 73rd minute of play forced Waialua's goalkeeper Erik Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Mancio Rapela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Cabrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Valente Nieva sped through Waialua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Cabrera. 82 minutes into the match, Waialua's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Faron came free, but Erik Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Waialua's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valente Nieva was slow to take the kick. During this time Caaguazu's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Caaguazu's Valente Nieva to fire away a dangerous shot which Erik Cabrera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Waialua's Erik Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsando Oterino in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Valente Nieva made a precise shot to the right of Erik Cabrera. Waialua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caaguazu fully deserved thier win.
