Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Elizondo started the match with the kick off. Patrick Fontenot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Cordero Dulanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Robustiano Amor in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CD Suscal's Xines Merida. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Cavazos in the 12th minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Cordero Dulanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marcus Rush hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Cavazos to maneuver through the defense. Rudolph Saunders hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Elizondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If León Buisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Donovan Heath got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Estevez Tobia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Brian Mendoza. Cordero Dulanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Cavazos in the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Rudolph Saunders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cordero Dulanto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when CD Suscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevez Tobia didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Cordero Dulanto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd match minute, CD Suscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xoan Golpe to maneuver through the defense. Rudolph Saunders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordero Dulanto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Cavazos got free with Cordero Dulanto in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by CD Suscal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Federico Maia was slow to take the kick. During this time Cosmos Soccer Club's players had a chance to rest. Cordero Dulanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donovan Heath, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Xoan Austria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Estevez Tobia came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Donovan Heath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Suscal's Daniel Elizondo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Elizondo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Suscal.
