An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Hernánde Ferraris in the 3rd minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donovan Heath hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Donovan Heath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolph Saunders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Javier Millapan having to interfere. In the 13th minute Rudolph Saunders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Javier Millapan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Javier Millapan came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot. But to his dismay, Patrick Fontenot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabino Matus in the 21st minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Rudolph Saunders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Francisco Javier Millapan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Javier Millapan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Cavazos in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC defense, Patrick Fontenot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Javier Millapan. The PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Javier Millapan should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Nicky Cavazos made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Javier Millapan. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Cavazos came free, but Francisco Javier Millapan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Gaete during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Francisco Javier Millapan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Cavazos in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnau Larraechea made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolph Saunders in the 54th minute of play forced PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goalkeeper Francisco Javier Millapan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Gabino Matus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC reached it. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Javier Urquieta in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's Rudolph Saunders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Javier Millapan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosmos Soccer Club's Rudolph Saunders got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicky Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolph Saunders blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Javier Millapan having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's zone, Nicky Cavazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Javier Millapan came out of the goal and Nicky Cavazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Federico Maia in the 72nd minute really tested Francisco Javier Millapan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Patrick Fontenot hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Rudolph Saunders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Nicky Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Javier Millapan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Saunders in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Saunders came free, but Francisco Javier Millapan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Hernánde Ferraris in the 90th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Cosmos Soccer Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC.
