Andy Gaston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedillo Villela, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Vedillo Villela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andy Gaston. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Vedillo Villela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Alianza Lima. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vedillo Villela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santio Villaran kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Vedillo Villela came free, but Andy Gaston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Santio Villaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Deportivo Alianza Lima. got a freekick which was hit by Israel Yanes. Deportivo Alianza Lima. made a substitution. Ellande Cuñat replaced Juanito Aguirol. Urtats Huidobro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andy Gaston. Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reynaldo Thacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joam Blazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
