Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reynaldo Thacker took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's Tadeusz Dziechciowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Gaston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tadeusz Dziechciowski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 8 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Dziechciowski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jagiellonia Denver's Andy Gaston. Andy Gaston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 14 played minutes Jagiellonia Denver got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Pena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 14th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Andy Gaston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Thacker in the 16th minute of play. Tadeusz Dziechciowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clement McCormick hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Marvelous Ronaldinho kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Thacker in the 27th minute of play. Clement McCormick made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Reynaldo Thacker however managed to control. In the 32nd minute, Tadeusz Dziechciowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sakura Storm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Andy Gaston came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Sakura Storm's Tadeusz Dziechciowski. But to his dismay, Tadeusz Dziechciowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 40th minute Hoyt Dove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakir Novruzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jagiellonia Denver's Hoyt Dove in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sakura Storm's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st match minute, Sakura Storm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Dziechciowski to maneuver through the defense. Zakir Novruzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Thacker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andy Gaston came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Sakura Storm's Vinícius Juniors. But to his dismay, Vinícius Juniors quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Andy Gaston successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andy Gaston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Andy Gaston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jagiellonia Denver's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Tadeusz Dziechciowski scored to the left of an out of position Andy Gaston, making the score, 0-7. Tadeusz Dziechciowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marvelous Ronaldinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andy Gaston. Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tadeusz Dziechciowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Andy Gaston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Gaston was a little too slow when Tadeusz Dziechciowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-8. Tadeusz Dziechciowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andy Gaston read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Zakir Novruzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hoyt Dove in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sakura Storm's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Odilon Hodges was slow to take the kick. During this time Jagiellonia Denver's players had a chance to rest. Sakura Storm's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
