A collision led to Flagstaff getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. After a defensive mix-up in Flagstaff's zone, Iztal Aballe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Rainey came out of the goal and Iztal Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Rainey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iztal Aballe in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Itzaina Abenda got free with Simon Rainey in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simon Rainey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Indalecio Abadia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Roosevelt Hollis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Indalecio Abadia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Rainey came out and tried to block the shot, but Indalecio Abadia slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 35th minute. Kermit Regan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Behe Abastas came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. Sanderson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Simon Rainey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iztal Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kermit Regan made a kick off. A.J. Sanderson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The Escuadrón Mercenario fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Escuadrón Mercenario's Indalecio Abadia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Simon Rainey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indalecio Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Flagstaff defense, Indalecio Abadia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Rainey. The Flagstaff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Rainey should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Flagstaff's Roosevelt Hollis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Escuadrón Mercenario had played much better football throughout.
