Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Winston Matthews got the match started through his kick off. Winston Matthews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mechanicville's Sheldon Benjamin got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermon Folch lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 13th minute, one of Garfield Dream Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garfield Dream Team. Maria Tesillo had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Kelly Walsh's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Sheldon Benjamin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Winston Matthews who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garfield Dream Team's Maria Tesillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maria Tesillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sheldon Benjamin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Bautista Hudobro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Samuels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mechanicville's zone, Bautista Hudobro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Samuels came out of the goal and Bautista Hudobro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the game, Bautista Hudobro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mitch Samuels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lizbeth Mazuca in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitch Samuels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 93 minutes, Clark Hess mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mechanicville and the Garfield Dream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clark Hess hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Garfield Dream Team's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
