Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anselmo Mosca got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Danilo Uhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Old Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Uhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Romeo Arriagada hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Lizar came free, but Ceandro Zumaeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Santa Luis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Capo de Provincia's Ceandro Zumaeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Lizar in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Eliazar Evar got a free kick in the 30th minute. Anselmo Mosca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vinicio Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santa Luis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ceandro Zumaeta made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Capo de Provincia's zone, Jairo Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceandro Zumaeta came out of the goal and Jairo Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madeo Klein replaced Magdaleno Magnasco. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santa Luis to make the kick off. Vinicio Bidari came out of the goal and Anselmo Mosca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes, Eliazar Evar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capo de Provincia and the The Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Capo de Provincia's Luis María Albages was substituted for Romeo Arriagada. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Eliazar Evar got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ceandro Zumaeta came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Old Boys's Jairo Lizar. But to his dismay, Jairo Lizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eliazar Evar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
