Severino Mendana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Macario Pavolleta fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kwyjibo's protests and gave Macario Pavolleta a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Kwyjibo got a freekick which was hit by Macario Pavolleta. 29 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Lazaro Meja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frantxizko Olarte. The crowd rose to their feet as Ríver Late's Frantxizko Olarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lazaro Meja. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Macario Pavolleta hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Lazaro Meja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Biosca in the 38th minute of play. Kwyjibo's Lazaro Meja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kwyjibo from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Kwyjibo's Diegotxe Lope got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lazaro Meja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frantxizko Olarte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Mendana to strike the kick off in the second half. Isauro Contero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtungo Campa in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llope Dorronsoro in the 57th minute of play forced Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Lazaro Meja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Ríver Late's Eliseo Biosca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lazaro Meja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Lazaro Meja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llope Dorronsoro in the 65th minute of play. Lazaro Meja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lazaro Meja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emenon Borrego went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute Frantxizko Olarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaro Meja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazaro Meja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Montiano in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Emenon Borrego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaro Meja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Ríver Late players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
