The crowd rose to their feet as Octavia's Ambrosio Abellaneda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteban José Botero. That made the score 3-0 after 15 minutes of play. Esteban José Botero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Troncoso in the 18th minute of play. Esteban José Botero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Abellaneda in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Octavia booed when ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban José Botero made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ambrosio Abellaneda sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nemesio Otero made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Troncoso in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Esteban José Botero came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Octavia's Peter Abella. But to his dismay, Peter Abella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. There was no doubt that Octavia were the better team. Octavia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
