Erwin Salcines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alexandre Marrodan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Valencia Arenzano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Marrodan, 3-0. After 31 played minutes Manuel Rodríguez 1186 got a freekick which was hit by Maurín Legrand. 41 minutes into the match, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's goalkeeper Alexandre Marrodan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Polo Bellogin. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Urrutia Iruretagoyena was substituted for Mendoza Vinuesa. The wind increased when Polo Bellogin made the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Marrodan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Salcines in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Erwin Salcines had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Marrodan. Manuel Rodríguez 1186's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erwin Salcines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of Real Guayaquil.F.C. booed when Manuel Rodríguez 1186 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvatore Lizondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
