Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Vancouver Reds's Frances Grossman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mellington Aniego hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Taltum FC defense, Marshall Valenzuela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valencia Cifuentes. The Taltum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valencia Cifuentes should have stopped the shot. Valencia Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frances Grossman in the 13th minute of play. Xines Herriaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Blake Vogt made a huge save. Aldo Quick's late challenge caught a Taltum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Quick helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Geoffrey Roach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maynard Pike kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Llul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Maynard Pike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valencia Cifuentes having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Vancouver Reds's Frances Grossman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 59 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goalkeeper Valencia Cifuentes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marshall Valenzuela. After 60 minutes of play, Vancouver Reds's Maynard Pike made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valencia Cifuentes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64thth minute of the game Frances Grossman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taltum FC's Valencia Cifuentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Polo came free, but Blake Vogt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valencia Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maynard Pike in the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Frances Grossman. Blake Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuberoa Mimbreño in the 87th minute of play. When Taltum FC's Zuberoa Mimbreño in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vancouver Reds's goalie prevented a goal. In the 91st minute, Franklin Polo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blake Vogt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Maynard Pike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vancouver Reds's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
