Zeledon Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ordóñez Cuesta in the 4th minute of the match. Nacional Potosí's Zeledon Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iza Orejo in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ángel Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valencia Cifuentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ordóñez Cuesta hit a great ball. Nacional Potosí's Zeledon Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ordóñez Cuesta in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Franklin Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xines Herriaga in the 33rd minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Zeledon Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacional Potosí's Zeledon Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xines Herriaga in the 38th minute of play. Anibal Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Álvarez scored 2-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valencia Cifuentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valencia Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Álvarez in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Álvarez to make the kick off. Valencia Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Valencia Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Abecia in the 59th minute of play. Valencia Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Álvarez in the 60th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Anibal Abecia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional Potosí and the Taltum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valencia Cifuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Licerio Abad came free, but Valencia Cifuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Demesio Abalos. A hard shot 86 in the game by Xines Herriaga from a close distance when the talented Zeledon Abechuco managed to make a qualified save. Nacional Potosí's players were relieved. There was no doubt that Nacional Potosí were the better team. Nacional Potosí's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
