Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xines Herriaga kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Taltum FC defense, Dani Oro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valencia Cifuentes. The Taltum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valencia Cifuentes should have stopped the shot. In the 5thth minute of the game Bidari Ansola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taltum FC's Valencia Cifuentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Reyes Villazan hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Bidari Ansola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute Bidari Ansola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valencia Cifuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Steven Fortis put in a rough tackle. Monitor Huáscar's Humberto Sagasti was substituted for Dani Oro. In the 23rd match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paúl Bardeci to maneuver through the defense. Bidari Ansola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bidari Ansola came free, but Valencia Cifuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bidari Ansola in the 31st minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Valencia Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Bidari Ansola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valencia Cifuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xines Herriaga struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ferman Basabe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taltum FC. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Sagasti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Xines Herriaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferman Basabe was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bidari Ansola was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Taltum FC's zone, Humberto Sagasti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valencia Cifuentes came out of the goal and Humberto Sagasti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes, Benigno Torne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monitor Huáscar and the Taltum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Benigno Torne got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Polo came free, but Ferman Basabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Sagastis short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Valencia Cifuentes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Sagasti got free with Valencia Cifuentes in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Turi Larrategui replaced David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado. Jimmy Broz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Bidari Ansola took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Valencia Cifuentes to make any attempt to save it. Valencia Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turi Larrategui, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Bidari Ansola came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Monitor Huáscar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bidari Ansola couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Borines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bidari Ansola struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Valencia Cifuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monitor Huáscar. Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xines Herriaga in the 93rd minute of play. Valencia Cifuentes made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Turi Larrategui sent off a good shot on target. The Taltum FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monitor Huáscar's performance. The match ended with a win for Monitor Huáscar.
