The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Oliviero Vados got control of the ball when Marshall Valenzuela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliviero Vados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Harrell in the 22nd minute of the match. Frances Grossman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Oliviero Vados made a huge save. After 35 minutes, Travis Oakley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vancouver Reds and the E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® players grew even worse after the yellow card. Travis Oakley hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Solorzano to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frances Grossman to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Frances Grossman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 52 played minutes E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® got a freekick which was hit by Perutxo Diego. 54 minutes into the match, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Frances Grossman came free, but Oliviero Vados reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgi Perma in the 62nd minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Blake Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliviero Vados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Valenzuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Jairo Taramona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Malone might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliviero Vados. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Malone ran back to his position shaking his head. Timothy Harrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Frances Grossman made a precise shot to the right of Oliviero Vados. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perutxo Diego got free with Blake Vogt in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Galeno Cortiguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
