In the 12th minute, Santio Cabello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Ricardo Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Sifi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santio Cabello in the 25th minute of play forced Halcones Azules's goalkeeper 罗延志 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nova Soccer's Edinson Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 罗延志 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santio Cabello in the 28th minute of play. 罗延志 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Nova Soccer getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Luisito Lorden hit a great ball. If Severiano Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santio Cabello to make the kick off. When Edinson Flores came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Nova Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinson Flores couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, one of Nova Soccer:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nova Soccer. Karim Sifi had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Anselmo Timo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Santio Cabello came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Nova Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santio Cabello couldn't finish the play. Halcones Azules's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Oswaldo Malla scored to the left of an out of position 罗延志, making the score, 0-1. 65 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Ekain came free, but Karim Sifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halcones Azules's 罗延志 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Halcones Azules from getting a goal against them. When Nova Soccer's Santio Cabello in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
